What are the lost futures which haunt the abandoned architecture of yesterday? Abandoned architecture are vestiges of the past lingering in the contemporary; a spectre of a spectre, the ruins are suspended between the past and the future, stuck in a lost future, while representing a past which has since moved on. By feeding urban exploration photographs of the site from 2006-2012 into neural networks, we envision an alternative past for a speculative future. Recreated in a digital space of neural networks, the space is speculated with greater agency and freedom, and imbued with infinite possibilities.
